Proud and ever radiant as a woman over the age of 50, Erica comes to Lanshin as living proof that beauty can thrive and grow more abundantly than ever as we mature. As an expert in skin rejuvenation, Erica is vehemently anti “anti-aging.” Rather than coerce our skin and bodies to submit to the cultural ideals of youth and beauty, Erica works to support the practice of cultivating healthy function and vitality within our whole beings - including our skin. This, she says, is the most important act of beauty as we age.
Holistic skincare has long been a passion for Erica that she now insists on in her work restoring health and radiance to maturing skin. Having worked with natural ingredients for many years, she understands that it requires constant research, trial and error and close observation of her clients’ results to be able to extract the most out of the category of organic, green beauty. Behind the scenes, she tracks carefully each of her sessions through pictures, notes and strategic thinking - so dedicated is she to elevating her practice and the level of results for her clients.
While Erica’s clients benefit from the brains she brings to her beauty work, they are also restored by the soothing nurture and lovingness she emits into her treatments. The true joy she derives from helping her clients care better for themselves and their skin is rare to find. Her unique warmth and loving attentiveness shifts your energy in a way that melts the tension of stress to reveal your deepest beauty.
Ever the passionate student, Erica is literally always learning something new she can bring to her practice. She is certified in several natural methods and techniques for skin health and rejuvenation, including: Facial Gua Sha, Thai Herbal Poultice, Vodder Lymphatic Drainage, and Vortex Healing®. She is grateful to have studied skin care with Dr. Ping Zhang, Anne Bramham, Cecily Braden and Sandra Chiu.
Outside of her skincare work, Erica can be found caring for and enjoying the company of her two teenage boys. She also loves taking long walks in the woods or the through the urban landscape of Manhattan. She also loves to embroider, ideally by the fire….with a cup of tea.
